Reworking the Relationship: College Students and Their Divorcing Parents

Author: Katherine Stone Kaufmann

This paper explores the effects of parental separation and divorce on children who have already left home when the marital dissolution occurs. The results of a study of gender differences in the experiences of 15 male and 15 female undergraduates whose parents separated while they were in college are presented.
