This paper reports on the Gender Equity study, which was commissioned to: (1) examine any inequities in the status of women at University of Massachusetts Medical Center (UMMC), a large state-supported medical center; (2) identify areas in which progress regarding gender equity has been made; and (3) offer recommendations to correct gender equity concerns across UMMC.
